Bayfield County
Travelers to Bayfield County can enjoy a number of cool day hiking trails, ranging from views of Lake Superior to old growth forests that escaped the logger’s ax.

Rusk County trails
Visitors to Rusk County can enjoy a number of major recreational areas, many of which contain great day hiking trails. Among them are a hike through the ancient Blue Hills and a stroll past a former cranberry bog.

St. Croix County trails
Though primarily thought of as farm country, eastern St. Croix County offers a number of great day hiking trails. Whether a local looking to explore or a traveler on Interstate 94 needing to stretch your legs, there’s probably a trail that’s right for you.

Sawyer County trails
Many great day hiking trails await in northern Sawyer County. They include a scenic hike around a lake that explore the area’s logging history and a centuries-old portage trail.

Washburn County trails
Located in Wisconsin’s northwest corner, Washburn County is an outdoor recreational paradise. Several day hiking and longer backpacking trails can be found in the county.
